In most American-made shoes, I wear size 9 1/2, so based on another reviewer's experience, I ordered a size 10, and this fits well. Width is fine, and they have a moderately good arch support. My only worry is that after only a few days' wear, one of the cloth pull-loops at the back has some evidence of fraying. If this breaks, getting the boot on will be very difficult. I attempted to do so without using the strap and found it next to impossible. Too soon to say for sure, but this may be a weak point in the manufacture of these otherwise comfortable and very attractive boots.
