Ran quite long. They also look very elfin and pointy. If you have a small or wide foot, this might be fine, but if your foot is longer or narrower anyway, this style starts to look odd.

Fantastic pair of shoes, much more comfortable than Johnston & Murphy and takes a shine well. When the time comes for another pair of dress shoes, this is where I will come.

The Florsheim Sorrento shoes are an outstanding example of classic style, quality, and everyday wearability. The fit is excellent, with a polished profile that looks refined without feeling overly narrow or stiff. They have the kind of timeless appearance that works equally well with dress pants, business attire, or a more elevated casual look. The comfort becomes exceptional after a short break-in period. The heels were a little uncomfortable during the first couple of wearings, which is not unusual with a well-structured dress shoe, but after they softened and molded to my feet, they became very comfortable. Once broken in, they can easily be worn all day long without fatigue. The quality and craftsmanship are exactly what I would expect from Florsheim. The materials feel durable, the stitching is clean, and the overall construction gives the impression of a shoe made to last. The Sorrento combines handsome styling, dependable comfort, and solid craftsmanship, making it a shoe I would gladly recommend.
