Not sure if it's from the FR treatment, but they smelled awful when they arrived. Still have a smell after first wash.

Several years ago I began only wearing Ariat FR jeans, this particular style is one of my favorites. I have 3 of this style, that's how much I like them. They last longer and are more comfortable than any other FR brands out there. They look so good my wife has me wear them to church.
