I was looking for a comfortable boot for mostly riding, but also walking and working outside. I did research on comfortable footbeds, soles and a cooler summer boot. I think these are it. Fit and comfort better than the other boots I tried. Size charts were confusing, but I spoke with Durango and decided on 8.5 medium. Good fit and comfortable. I do wish they made a round toe in the ventilated shaft.
I have big calves (16.5 in), and these boots fit.
Loved the shaft and the elastic in the ankle made it super comfy and easy to move! But wow, way too big for normal socks, and I wanted to use something fun to protect my ankles riding my scooter, and was not planning for heavy socks... if so, maybe 1/2 size too big, but they feel a full size (though seems the toe box may squish down a bit). And I need wide due to a bunionette, and these happily would have worked nicely--but sadly, too big, so they will have to go back.
My wife loves them and has had a lot of compliments about the boots.
This is the fourth pair of women's wide width cowboy boots that I've tried. My foot isn't wide anywhere except the bridge, and a medium width hurts my big toe. This was the first one I could wear, and they actually look really good too. I can wear normal width round toe boots, but I prefer the square. Great purchase.

I bought these from Boot Barn a couple months ago and Im in love with them. I wear them out and about & even line dancing and they never fail me, so comfy and good for wide calves.
