I've had these shoes for a year or so, and they do a few miles a week. They've also been on a couple of multi day hikes and I've found the comfort and support to be amazing. However, they've cracked in multiple places and are now unwearable. I wouldn't expect this from such an expensive pair of boots which have probably only done max 200-300miles, so I can't recommend these to anyone. I also know 2 other people who have had this exact problem, cracking in the same places. So, I'll be looking for some different shoes to replace these.

They went well for 2 weeks then one got a toe crack. Wet grassed caused soggy feet. Expected much better performance for the price. Now have to purchase something that is better quality.

The only brand of hiking boots that I can wear with my low-volume, narrow feet. Salomon's lacing manner accommodates a range of foot shapes without the dread of heel rubbing. Thanks!

These are the most comfortable hiking I've found, and the only ones that fit my little feet. The toe box room and shape are perfect. The only flaw is the upper forms a funnel for debris, but this does not happen when wearing long pants.

Great fit, stabilizes my foot and ankle especially on steep rocky hikes. keeps my feet dry on wet hikes. Sturdy! Have had them over a year and still great

Quest 4, the quest is over: The boots are super comfortable, like wearing a pair of tennis shoes. Lightweight. Perfect for hiking.

I love these hikers: I've been buying these shoes for years and have tried different other brands, they just don't fit like the Quest 4D. The leather breaks open too fast where the plastic front meets the leather. This pair started coming apart after only 9 months of normal use, not mountain bavk packing. I wear them winter and summer, in Alaska. They are a little hot for summer and not warm enough some of winter up here.
