Nucleo High II GTX

I am very hard to fit and tried on every hiking boot I could find before settling on this one. I hike a lot and have been using them regularly for about three years. They are sturdy and hold up to any challenge that's come my way. Each time I put them on, they feel stiff and not as comfortable as I would like. However, after hours on the trail, my feet don't hurt. I also feel very secure that my ankle is protected from twisting (yes, completely twisted and broke it once while hiking in tennis shoes). So, I guess they do their job well and maybe I shouldn't expect running shoe comfort out of hiking boots.

This is a great, light and comfortable boot. They support my ankles perfectly and didn't take long to break in. I use my own arch supports.

Bought these for a hiking trip to sedona az. After a half a day my ankles were falling off. I took the boots off and i have red marks on ankle bones both feet. Not acceptable for a $170 boot . I will be returning them
