It's waterproof, ultra lightweight, washable and therefore extremely easy to care for. EVA upper and lining. Anatomically shaped EVA footbed. Two top straps with adjustable buckle closures. Neutral heel profile and deep heel cup keeps the natural padding of your foot where it belongs, under the heel, distributing your body weight more evenly. Love these for my swim days. Easy on/off. Wear them to the pool, slip them off for my swim, back on for the shower and home. Comfortable as soon as you put them on...no break in required. I have had several of these and they are long lasting. I ordered my usual Birkenstock size, they might be a tad bigger than some of my other Birkenstocks, but not enough for me to try downsizing.

So bummed! I've bought the same size of this shoe every few years, but this time my pinky toe is hanging off and they even look more narrow. I think they took all the bad reviews from people saying their skinny, narrow feet don't fit the shoe and capitulated to that crowd. Beware.
These seem different than my other pairs. I have a lot of these sandals, and they seem to wide.
THese were recommended by a friend who knew I was suffering with plantar fasciitis. The length was ok, but my skinny foot kept sliding around. In short, they were not comfortable at all for me. I expected that they would be cushy on the heel, but they are not.

Talk about uncomfortable. The most uncomfortable pair of shoes I own. I went for a short walk with these and came back with blisters. Absolutely not! Returning them as fast as I can!
Felt uncomfortable and didn’t seem to mold to foot like other pairs I’ve ordered. Maybe because they are synthetic and not cork/leather.
