I'm a fan of shearling slippers, nothing keeps my feet as cozy and warm, especially during cold New England winters. I purchased these online, confident they'd fit. Nope. I'm a solid size 7 in all shoes but found these to be a half size too big and knowing they'd stretch out a bit (as shearling slippers always do) I returned them for a size 6. They were snug for a few days but as expected, they've stretched out and have conformed to my feet nicely. Based on this, I disagree with the suggestion LL Bean gives about going up if between sizes.

I recommend sizing down instead of up if you are a 1/2 size, they may be snug at first but they will relax with a few wears and end up perfect for your feet. Mine have held up great with daily wear for 2+ years. I've worn other more expensive brands and these have held up so much better and are a lot more comfortable too.

I plan on returning these. They are suppose to have fleece inside but it's matted fur. The width is so narrow we even had trouble putting a hand inside each slipper to take the stuffing out. I could barely put them on but I did and it was painful. Bean simply doesn't know how to make slippers. They think medium is the universal size for them.
