Definitely stiffer than my old Nike Vapor court shoes. Very good grip on the courts. Won't know about tread wear for a couple months, but if they last six months then I would consider them to be excellent.

Shoes have very stiff sole (which I like for foot support). However, shoe was heavier than I like.
