These arrived with a slight defect (bungee cord had a tear in it). I noticed after the second wear on my kid, since it was under the lace hole and only when I pulled it tight did the ripped portion pull through. Submitted a claim to replace just the bungee, (not asking for a new shoe) and it was denied. No big deal. It was a $5 Amazon purchase to find a replacement bungee cord. However, I shouldn't have to spend additional money correcting a defect from the original conditions of the boot. Makes me question the quality that this company stands for.

This is a nice shoe, but it couldn't accomodate my orthotic - I felt this shoe couldn't been slightly larger. I have other Keen shoes that are same size, and my orthotics fits well. I'm finding that boot type shoe don't work well with my orthotics.

I bought these for my 11-year old son to wear to Outdoor School (a week of school that is spent at a camp). He wears a 6.5 in athletic shoes and the 7 in these were perfect. The area was damp and it rained heavily one day. He is not a boot-wearing kind of kid but he picked these amongst many choices. He said they were comfortable and kept his feet warm and dry. The only thing he didn't like was the boot hitting his ankle when he walks but that might just be because he is not used to wearing boots. The toggle closure makes these really easy to get on and off. This is the first pair of boots I have purchased that he actually wore.

These are not waterproof. My kid has wet socks every time he wears them and the inside of the shoe is wet. We live in Western Washington where it rains a lot. Also, the closure broke in like one day. We got these shoes after submitting a warranty claim for another keen pair that just fell apart in a month. I wont be wasting my money on this brand again
