These are the best socks ever! I bought five pairs I wish I would have bought more so I could wear them every day. They have been keeping my feet toasty warm and they are very comfortable. They don't squeeze my ankles likes some of the other smartwool socks do. I did snag one sock and some thread pulled away, so I hope it doesn't cause a problem in the future. These socks are very thick so they fit best in my hiking shoes, but I have worn them in a looser fit tennis shoe too.

I tried these suffering from really cold feet this winter. I like these socks a lot but somehow the cozy cabin socks feel much warmer to me. These socks have a looser fit to them so maybe I should have sized down. But I think it is just the knit of the sock that creates more 'air' ? I am not sure but these are not my favorites for keeping warm. They aren't cold.. just not as warm as others.

I purchased these to replace my 15yo smartwool thick socks to keep my feet warm at home. I did not purchase these to wear with shoes. They're great, thick and warm.
Only downside is there's a noticeable toe seam, if you are buying these to wear in shoes be aware of that.

There was no shape to the sock. The loose lack is structure wasn't suitable for a boot. Returned .

My feet were so warm and cozy that I didn't want to wear any other sock, so I purchased 4 more pairs. These will be my go to sock every winter going forward. I've been wearing these socks every day during our frigid winter with temps around zero and constant snowfall. None of my other socks can beat the warmth of these socks. If your socks aren't keeping your feet warm, you need to try these. You won't regret it. They are also soft, comfortable and true to size.
