Classic Chelsea

I have been wearing the Red Wing Chukkas for the last 5 years and love them. When I went to purchase a new pair there was none in stock anywhere so I tried the Classic Chelseas and like these better than the Chukka's. I went 1/2 size smaller and I am glad I did. They fit perfect.

These are my first pair of Chelsea boots. Excellent choice! I work them to work the first day, I do a lot of walking /standing on concrete. They were like sneakers. I have never been disappointed with a Red Wing Heritage boot! Sized the same as my other boots.

Great so far - I bought these to replace some well worn Blundstones and they are great so far. The Red Wings cost more but the materials and overall build quality are much better. After a week of wearing the Red Wings, I cannot see myself buying another pair of Blundstones.

This is the best overall work style chelsea out there and worth every extra dollar compared to competitors. Though they are a chunkier style of chelsea, compared to the comparable Danners and Blundstones, they are svelte and refined with far superior materials and construction. The Red Wing iteration of the wedge heel is both thinner and more comfortable than others I have experienced. The EE width doesn't seem quite as wide as I would like, but as I'm on my second day of wear, the leather is already stretching and accommodating my feet; I expect in a couple weeks these will be a dream. I think I have found my life boot.

I am a self proclaimed red wing heritage fanatic. I own several pair and I really wanted these to work for me but the sizing just didn’t work. They are based off the iron ranger last but I found them to be too narrow and unfortunately the EE was unavailable for me.

These came in an unbranded, generic cardboard box that gives off bootlegged vibes. Not sure if this is a Zappos or Redwing thing, but it makes these appear cheap and not authentic. Boots seem like decent quality - just did not feel good on my feet. I returned them.

I received these boots in a Redwing box for different boots. This is a completely unacceptable for a $300 pair of boots.

These boots were received thrown into an Amazon box. There was no original packaging from Redwing. This is unacceptable for $300 boots.

This is my first pair of Red Wings and they run massively large compared to any other brand I've ever owned. I'm wearing a full size smaller (10.5 typical, down to a 9.5 in Red Wings). The 9.5's are a bit narrow, unfortunately. But based on the width of the wides, I'm hoping they will break in a bit. Aside from sizing, these are very nice boots. I needed something just nice enough to wear out for the evening but not too fancy that I can't also wear them to Lowes. These do exactly that. Very nice boots.
