The shoe had no arch support, it was very hard material, and hurt around the ankle. Too bad because it was so cute.

I've worn SAS shoes since the 1980's, when the current generation's grandfathers were building my shoes. I am now in my 70's & have low bone mass. I've been looking for a comfortable boot with over the ankle support to continue walking. These are light weight, just enough support to keep me up. The top seam though, on the left boot, rubs on the ball of my ankle bone. Not sure why, when the right boot feels good?

Received with beige trim stained from burgundy shoe tint. Nice style, but overall poor quality shoe . The toe box is quite shallow and narrow, the footbed has no arch support, and is extremely hard and uncomfortable-- as is the entire shoe. The shoe is rather difficult to put on due to the restrictive horizontal shoe tongue seam which is supposed to provide more flexibility, but instead puts unwated pressure on the instep. Returned these poorly crafted shoes.

shoe was too narrow for my foot which has a large bunion. ordered the 8 wide (D) width. this shoe is not available in a WWW extra wide width per call to customer service. loved the look & style of the shoe but just wished it worked for my feet!

ordered size 8 wide (D) width. this shoe was too narrow for my foot so was unable to wear for any amount of time over 1 1/2 hours. unable to get this shoe in www width per call to customer service. since i have a large bunion this is an ongoing issue for me. loved the look of this shoe, though...only wished it worked for my foot!

Love this style but I have narrow feet and the narrow was not narrow enough. I would have tried a slim but I also felt the height at the heel needed to be just a tad taller as it rubbed in strange places around my ankles. I wish it would have worked out. I love this brand but this shoe style was not made for my feet.

It's true!! I have more stability and a better fit from ankle boots for my 10.5 AAA feet. Yay!!!

I love these boots, however there is a problem with the left boot. I called and they gave me some very nice lip service suggesting that is is my foot that caused the bump in the side of the shoe. Ridiculous, as I don't have bunions. I feel that this should have been caught in final inspection.

I have had a blue pair of these for a few years and wear them all the time. I decided to gift myself with a second pair, this time in brown. I love how they fit, how versatile they are. I wear orthotics and they easily go into these boots. Chukka boots work for outdoors, rainy weather, casual with jeans or with longer skirts. They are my "go to" choice, even more than my many other pairs of SAS brand shoes.
