A beautifully made shoe. The extra narrow width was good for my long skinny feet, but I think my feet have gotten longer with age and I really need an 11.5 narrow or extra narrow in SAS instead of the 11 narrow I’ve worn for years, or at least more room in the toe box due to arthritis bumps and damage. Also, even though the width was good, I still had heel slippage in this shoe. Not terrible and didn’t seem like it would cause blisters but noticeable. I’ve tried several styles of SAS now and I’m just not sure their last is right for my particular foot build. I do better with more cushioned heel and ankle areas.

My 90-year-old mother has had a lifetime of difficulty finding shoes. She's 9.5 AAA. She's been wearing Keds for many years, but lately she needs more stability. I called many shoe stores to find out if they carry this size. Even a store which specializes in narrow shoes didn't carry. it. Two stores actually asked me what "triple AAA" means. Aghhh! I turned to Zappos and found these attractive shoes. My mom received them today. She said the first thing she felt was extreme comfort. Hooray.

I really love SAS shoes. They are the best made shoes and by taking out the insole, they are built to accommodate custom orthotics. These feel a tiny bit tight across the toe bed, but since they are leather, they should easily stretch to the form of my feet over time.

I did not like the way the shoe looked.

The shoe is great but I was sent the wrong size. I ordered an 11 narrow; I received an 11 slim. It's just too tight. I want to re-order but am afraid the same will happen again.

This is a nice shoe but it doesn't fit my foot well. Rides up and down on heel when I try to walk. Toe box is too narrow for a toe condition I have.

I ordered two sizes, my regular size 11 and a longer 11.5, because I had toe surgery recently and thought I might need a bigger size until my foot heals. However, the size 11 fit just fine, so I'm keeping that and returning the 11.5.

This is my first pair of SAS. I bought these shoes for an upcoming trip to Europe where I anticipate walking on cobblestones and stone stairs. I love their small footprint relative to the shoes I wear when I walk for exercise about 45 minutes at a time. I am exchanging them for a 9-1/2 M because the 9's I ordered were just a little tight. So this review is based on the expectation that the 9-1/2's will work. And I can always wear heavier socks with them!

Liked the appearance of the shoes. The fit was not good for me because the shoe is not deep enough.

Such a great product. Comfortable and classy. I have had compliments on them. I am 83 and walk a lot. My older shoes are uncomfortable--no cartilege left. These are a dream. Worth every penny. I have 3 prs and wanting to get a fourth. Thanks SAS for making my life so much better!
