We bought this hiking shoe for my daughter who needed a pair for her time away at camp. Although the shoe itself is fine, the laces WILL NOT stay laced. They are round laces and are constantly untying. Even a few minutes after tying, you can already see that the knot is loose and a few minutes later the shoe is untied. Having to stop every few minutes to re-tie laces that are wet and dirty ultimately renders these shoes useless.

After reading reviews from other women, I decided that these kids hikers might be perfect for this 80 year old with small feet. I did a short hike wearing them last week and they were great! I probably could have used one size smaller, but I love having enough room for a thicker sock.

Made very well, fit my granddaughter out of the box ( and she liked them!). Great price point. They're for summer camp which hasn't started yet, so I can't give a full review, but I'm happy with them.

My son wore it to his school for a month and we went on a moderate hike. The shoe is coming off the sole at the front areas. I can see the glue that's been detached from the sole. I really thought I could trust llbean for my son shoe since I was disappointed at merrel kids shoe as well.

This is the third pair of these I've had over the years. Super comfortable.Not overly heavy but supportive for hiking and even everyday wear in cooler weather.

Fabulous waterproof shoes for hikes and town: We've bought these trail shoes for my daughter two years running. We have a wet walk to school in Portland, OR, and these are her go to trekking shoes.
