This Chelsea boot is very nice as the leather and construction seem very good. However as most shoe brands these days, place a thin cheap insole as a way to save on cost. Now I have to buy new insoles. Everything you buy now is less in volume and quality has been sacrificed in order for bigger profits. It’s just the way things are these days. Overall happy with this shoe.
I bought these boots for my son to wear in Italy for a month long college trip in January that required him to dress in business casual clothes. We waterproofed them and he wore them every day and night! Prior to these boots he lived in sneakers. They still looked pristine when he returned and he raved about how comfortable they were. He’s back on campus and they continue to be his preferred shoes.

The sizing is perfect (wide size, true to length) which is something not every shoe company gets right. The rustic look of the raw leather is standout, and the comfort and ease of walking are what a city dweller needs
The insole fell apart within 4mos. Cannot return. Seems like this boot should last longer.
