Venture Lace Up Comfort Sneaker

These are so comfortable that a month later I bought a second pair! This for a person who hasn't worn sneakers in 10 years because I couldn't find any comfortable and wide enough.

This sneaker is really a hybrid shoe that has a sneaker experience underfoot. It is good for walking on flat surfaces, but on hills and rough terrain my feet tend to slide forward or sideways, and this effect is worse than the nylon SAS version of this shoe I bought previously. Perhaps it’s the custom orthotics I wear for flat feet (and have worn for 15 years). Fact is, the insoles they provide with their shoes are cheaply made and difficult to insert over orthotics. They developed holes within three months of using orthotics. Same thing with the last SAS shoes I had. Given that SAS makes shoes for people with foot related health conditions, you’d think they would design a better solution for folks like me, but maybe I am the wrong type of customer for them. I was hoping these would surpass the New Balance 990v5 I wore previously, but I am afraid I will have to keep shopping until SAS addresses these basic product issues.

These are my first pair of SAS shoes. I hesitated buying them at first because of their price but they are worth it. They could be the most comfortable walking shoes I’ve ever owned.

I have been wearing different brand of shoes my whole life, just couldn't find any that were very comfortable always had my little toe hurting by the end of the day. and it really is aggravating at my age of 59. last year my wife told me to get some SAS shoes and i complained about the price but bought them anyway because she said too. I have never worn a more comfortable shoe and wish i bought these years go. I will never buy any other brand. by the end of the day my feet feel great and I feel great at the end of the day. no more foot pain. I didn't really know how much it has changed my attitude because the pain is gone in my little toes. and when i say this i wasn't just buying any shoe out there before SAS i was buying top brands. Thanks SAS you have made a true difference in my daily life.
