I bought this plus 4 other pairs and found that the CATERPILLAR SECOND SHIFT WIDE/LARGE the best. FWIW, I bought everything available up to $150 a pair in my size, WIDE.
EASTLAND LUMBER UP was my number 2 in comfort... But its sole is too smooth, and I'm in rural Maine.
Looks good, feels great, and i tested the SHANK by standing on a 2x2 for a while... as i work on ladders a lot.
If I wanted brown boots to walk around in especially in non-rural settings, them i would buy these.
Highly recommend.
Others includes Rocky Treadflex - best with protective toe!, Then Carolina 5" Composite Toe Hiker, Ariat Rebar Flex 6" H20 Comp Toe

For well out of the box. Comfortable. They break in quickly. Only gripe is the soles on these eastlands were out way to fast. Also this pair lost an eyelet within two days of wearing. Had to buy a repair kit but that should t happen Overall and o th raise great boots

Wanted to love this boot. The footbed and toe box was very comfortable. But the heel cup was really stiff and painful. There's a really hard seam that digs into my heel. Maybe it won't for you, but if you have tough feet like me, it's a no go.

The boots arrived on time; with one major mistake, sent the wrong width! you need to pay closer attention to quality checking the orders. i jsut ordered a 2nd pair in the only other color and finish available in a WIDE width.

Decent leather but has some coating on it that peels away just days later, in addition the insole is rather thin & glued in place. After several hours I feel I'm wearing something from the clearance aisle. Overall construction is akin to a cheap sneaker. Not at all worth asking price.

To be honest, I didn't even put these cheap looking things on. I've seen quality shoes at Walmart. Spend your money elsewhere.

Poor quality is visible right out of the box. They fit true to size, but the soles remind me of $5 Walmart flip flops. Honestly, these boots look & feel like some low end Walmart boots. These are definitely not worth $130+. Do yourself a favor, save another $50-$100 buck & get a pair of Keens or upgrade to some Thorogoods.
