This was a beautifully made boot and seriously comfortable! Just not quite the style I'm looking for.

This shoe did not fit me well at all and did not meet my expectations for SAS shoes. The leather quality especially seemed poor, and I was unhappy at how the boots slipped on my heels. The shoe also lacked cushion and arch support.

The shoes is made of very nice leather. It is a generous cut and sizing. My problem was, I felt the heel/arch area cut into the sole of my foot as if their was a bar going across the inside of the shoe.. I returned them because they were too uncomfortable for my arch.

I have many pairs of Sas shoes and always wear a 10W. I couldn't even get my foot into these. Also, for reference the walnut color is not walnut and is a reddish brown leather. I'm gonna exchange these for a 10WW in a different color and hope they work.

I have purchased two other pairs of these boots in recent years and they have been great. This time the toe box is too narrow for my size narrow foot. I ordered the walnut color but it was a bit too reddish for my taste; I would have preferred a dark brown with more yellow in it. Don't know what I'll do for a boot that fits now. This one was the only one that has worked for me!

These boots have everything I need to make my feet happy--extra wide width, soft suede exterior, leather lining so they stretch for comfort and also will not cause me blisters, a removable footbed so I can replace it with my own orthotic, a roomy toe box for my tender feet, and a low, flat heel and flexible sole for walking comfort. And the boot look very stylish too, and not an all like an extra wide comfort shoe. I have 2 prs. of these boots--the black suede and the black suede with (hot-looking!) leather heel. If SAS ever comes out with an extra wide tall boot version of this boot, I'll buy 2 prs. of those too!
