Order a size smaller. Purchased these for my wife, wore them with white ankle high socks, cutoff jeans and a white tank top on a recent trip over seas and the amount of compliments she got was awesome. Really cool shoe.

I felt like I was wearing cement shoes and you could hear me coming a mile away. Took me half and hour to try to thread the strap through the second little metal latch I was literally tired by the time I got them both on. Cute shoe. Poor design.

Love these. They are perfect for everyday or can be dressed up. Comfortable but they do run big

OMG! First Dr Martens EVER that I could wear right out of the box. Ran errands for four hours and they were comfortable, fun and stylish the entire time. They do run big but just width-wise. The length was perfect. After I put my orthotics in and wore sox the width was fine. They’re heavy but I just kept thinking my calves were getting a good workout. Love ‘em!

I have previously ordered Docs a full size down, so I did that with these and I am very happy I did so. The 5 is a perfect fit, they’re not too tight, and I’ve worn them to work multiple days in a row without a problem. That being said, keep in mind that leather does take a while to break in. The first couple wears were not comfortable and were rough on the backs of my ankles. I suggest wearing them with socks to get the leather to soften up a bit. After about a year, I wear these probably 3 days a week to work.

SO UNCOMFORTABLE!! It's such a cute shoe, and I was so excited because Doc Marten typically makes good comfortable shoes but these are torture, I can't even wear them. Also, I'm familiar with European sizing but these were about a full size too large and had to be exchanged. I wish they hadn't been so limited with the beautiful oxblood color that immediately ran out. Oh well!

I wanted to love them but they are ridiculously heavy, like walking around with cement blocks on your feet. Totally impractical.

These shoes are SO cute and I get a ton of complements when I wear them. That is why I wear them. The arch support is entirely absent....but if I wear my orthotics they are okay. The real problem is they are so heavy that I walk like Frankenstein and my feet and legs get extremely tired. I walk like my feet are in concrete and I do not like that at all. My back hurts when I wear them also. However, cute and can be worn in the rain.

It's a very heavy, heavy shoe. Also, the shoe is much wider and larger than normal. I normally wear a size 9 but this shoe is much too large for me. Unfortunately, I will have to return the shoes but they are very cute.
