It's not really leather more like a fake plastic leather. The buckle is super cheap, definitely made from China or cheap place. Wouldn't recommend. I purchased thinking that Carhartt makes quality stuff that will last. It will not and they do not. A simple shoelace will out last this thing as a belt.

Superb belt for my active grandson: I bought a black and a brown belt for my 15 yr old grandson to wear with his school uniform. I wanted quality leather belts and these do not disappoint. I have ordered these belts several years ago for him, and they are still in fantastic condition despite being worn daily! He has slimmed up, so we took his older, larger belts to a leather smith and had extra holes punched in them. He kept the older belts for outdoors and work wear. He did not want to depart with them!

Order up: I'm a comfortable 33-34inch waist. I ordered a 36inch and it was too small (gave it to my son). I reordered a 38 and it fits - of the 5 holes provided - i use the one in the middle comfortably.....so order up. I was surprised
