This belt is very stiff. So stiff that it squeaks like a new pair of shoes. I tried to work it a little to soften it up and that gave the stiff leather a somewhat crackled appearance.

I'm a 36 pants size and this is a 38 belt (which is the guideline), and I am on the first hole of the belt..a little short. Love the style but might need a 40 belt.

My husband is on the small side of a 34" waist and this 36" belt was tight on him on the last hole. Had to return.

nice belt, buckle is pretty big. the buckle is sort of a matte charcoal color which doesn't stand out a ton against the black leather.
