Bought these for my husband and I for our trip to Scotland. They seemed to fit a bit roomier than described but that was ok I could fit many layers underneath. The jackets worked great for rain while we were in Edinburgh and when we climbed a mountain it helped with the high winds and misty rain. When it came to visiting the Isle of Skye it was raining more consistently and the jackets began to fail which was really disappointing. It wasn't like a torrential downpour but windy and more consistently coming down. So factor in how much rain you will encounter as this won't hold up against a lot.

I returned the jacket. Not as light weight as I wanted for traveling and the sleeves were 2" too long. A petite might have fit better but was afraid it would be too short over my hips. I purchased a xL reg. I am 5'3" and 175 lbs

I've worn it in the rain a few times and it was super. The only reason I didn't rate it higher was because I haven't worn it for more than a few minutes in light rain, and never in a torrential downpour. But so far, so good!!
