Bean's Down Jacket (Big Kids)

I would not recommend these jackets for any children. This is my daughter's second down jacket from LLbean, she loves that these jackets are so soft and warm inside. However, these jackets will get incredibly dirty and you can not wash away any stain or mark. I have tried washing it with everything and they marks will not lift. The latest jacket I purchased only lasted one week and now I once again have an incredibly dirty looking jacket that has these splotchy brown/black smudges and all she did was play with the chalk. I've tried washing the jacket several times and it just looks gross.

Kiddo loves this coat! Great color, great fit, keeps him warm. Hoping to get one more winter out of it!

Started falling apart almost immediately after buying. I washed it once and the down totally balled up

L.L. Bean's quality and materials have gone down substantially since it decided to move away from lifetime guarantees. My son had a version of this jacket and came in from sledding looking like he was covered in feathers. There were rips and tears all over his sleeves. L.L. Bean simply called it wear and tear and refused to do anything about it. Long-time fan no more. Time to find a new outfitter for my family. This company has sold out.

Deeply DEEPLY dissapointed in this jacket. Since day one, it's been shedding feathers EVERYWHERE! Not the quality I expect from LL Bean! Now I have to add dealing with customer service and returing this shoddy product to my already full To Do List. I look to LL Bean to make my life easier - you pay a bit more, but for a quality product. Not this time! I have yet another errand to add to my list and they're probably going to charge me shipping to return. VERY UPSET/

Well made , so comfortable - and warm on cold mornings our grandson headed to preschool.

Didn't even last an entire season before the zipper broke.

Warm, not too bulky. My son can move and jump in the snow. Sherpa adds that special touch of warmth. I had to get two, one for each of my boys. Finally a winter coat that looks good but still offers warmth for snowy days.
