Bean's Sweater Fleece Full Zip Jacket

Bought this for a trip overseas as part of my layering strategy. The jacket added the perfect level of warmth and looked sharp in photographs. Excellent purchase.

This jacket was recommended to me by a friend as a great jacket/layering piece when traveling. I purchased one on sale, and thought I'd give it a try on my trip to Alaska this summer. I was absolutely thrilled to have it. I wore it alone and/or under my waterproof raincoat depending on the weather. It was perfect. I like the full zip as it was easy to put on or take off as the weather changed throughout the day. It was well worth the price.

Aside from a chemical odor I had trouble removing, this is great. It fits as expected, the pockets are great, and it's cozy and warm. As someone who experiences respiratory issues from chemical odors and fragrances, I really struggled with the scent that seemed embedded.

I have to give this garment the benefit of the doubt, since we are in the summer months and I've not had a chance to wear it; - however, the weight, fit, and feel of the garment is exceptional. It seems like it will be warm and it fits fine over a lightweight shirt or Zip-T, but frankly, there really isn't room for a heavy shirt. I think that it will provide warmth without bulk and because it fits snug (but not tight) and I think there's room for a raincoat over it, if the weather is really cold and wet. I purchased a Petite Small, but that size option isn't given.

I haven't worn this jacket yet as it's still too warm in Northern California but the medium was a perfect fit for me.

I love the softness. full zipper easy for on and off. Very slimming. Purchased an XL easy on over my flannel shirts or sweaters. The length in body and sleeves are perfect. I like longer lengths. I am 5'9". 180. 70 years old. Perfect weight for indoors when I get chilled or a chill in the air outside. Great side deep pockets for keys, tissue, cell phone. I love the secure zipper pockets. . I have a depiller for when it gets pills.

I loved this jacket so much I bought another one because I wore out the first one.

It matches all my blue dresses and fits like a tailored jacket but is stretchy like a sweater and keeps me as warm as wearing my wool sweaters. I love it!

One my favorite purchases from LL Bean. Lots of pockets, warm and cozy, very attractive looking. I bought a long size at 5'8 and I found the length to be perfect.
