Raised toe bar encourages the natural gripping motion of your feet.
Neutral heel profile and deep heel cup keeps the natural padding of your foot under the heel, distributing your body weight more evenly.
Ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) outsole offers lightweight, shock absorbing support with lasting durability.
Dual layer Jute wicks away moisture while the bottom adds strength and makes resoling easy.
Heat Warning - Cork footbeds or EVA soles can be damaged by exposure to concentrated heat. Do not leave your footwear in direct sunlight or in closed cars on warm days. If your footwear becomes wet, allow it to air dry slowly, away from direct heat.

The Gizeh braided sandal was very cute, however; after trying on the underside of the braid was scratchy and uncomfortable for top of foot and the left sandal I'm afraid will hurt my heel (recent flare of heel spur). They would soften up with time I'm sure but still too expensive to wear out and not be able to return. Love Birkenstock, may try another pair with soft footbed and plain toe strap, already have the Arizona with soft footbed that are many years old and wear like a glove. Unfortunately have to return.

I bought these for a casual wedding. Like all Birkies for me they take some time to « break in »… But I’m sensitive… this is the first pair of « flip flops » since I was a kid. I needed moleskin. If you’re used to this should be no problem. Despite these issues they are cute not as bulky as the usual Birkies. I recommend them!

I love these Gizeh Birkies; they are a little narrow but not a deal breaker for slightly wider feet. The comfort and support are true Birkenstock. I really like the Olive Green color, perfect for many of my outifts.

Gizeh is a favorite style, have many pairs, attracted to the braiding and the avocado color. Love changing out the styles. Fit as usual, very comfortable.

This could work for a narrow foot, which I have. The only color available was green - it's ok, but I found what I wanted on another site. I actually almost kept these.
