Timberland PRO Nashoba Composite Safety Toe seemed very well built and looked very good (the soles had good traction and enough flexibility, the seams were good, and the inside and outside felt very smooth and well built). However, the shoes were too long for my foot, and considering that the length of the shoes was too long for the labeled size, it was odd that they were not wide enough at the middle sides and the toe box (I ordered a Men's 5 Wide). Built with a full leather upper, they might have stretched enough in width to accommodate my feet, but they were too snug and didn't have any space on the sides or in the heel area (I couldn't fit my pinky finger between my heel and the back of the shoe, but that area might have stretched with wear). I liked them, they felt very comfortable sitting down, but they were too snug for me to walk around in. The shoe description on the box and the sewn in shoe labels inside the shoes matched in size and width. Because of the longer sole and narrow width, I am wondering if the wrong labels were sewn into the shoes, maybe they are a size 6 regular width instead of a size 5 wide? I tend to wear men's wide safety shoes because they are usually wider than women's wide safety shoes, so I am very familiar with men's safety shoe sizes. I was surprised, they looked good and I wanted them to fit.

The back heel creates gnarly blisters. I love the look, but the shoes are very uncomfortable.
shoes felt confined compare to other shoes i've bought previously with similar style. wide toe felt narrower than normal. the back of the boots kept digging into the skin as i walked and caused severe discomfort.

After only 4 days wearing these the top of the right shoe ripped. Two days later the top of the left shoe ripped. They squeak horribly and do not break in. Would not recommend.
