Decided to do some ballet barre at home after not dancing for many, many years and now officially a senior. Lots of innovation in ballet flats since my last purchase 20 odd years ago. Really like the softness and fit of the stretch canvas with no draw string to deal with. Pre-sewn elastics are very convenient. I do have a high instep and might have sewn a bit looser. Also recall ordering 2 sizes smaller than street shows (women's sizes) when I ordered before and if I get another pair will likely go half a size larger.

Really weird fit. What on earth have they done to ballet shoes!?!? The small elastic all the way around is no longer adjustable? So the shoes were baggy. But the arch elastics come pre-sewn and they are TIGHT.
