ZAPPOS - not Mephisto - CREATED SIZING PROBLEM.
If you know your European size (which is standardized and, hence, consistent), then rely on it - these shoes are true to European sizing.
You will see the shoes' European size once you add shoes to your shopping bag.
E.g. European 42 has commonly been translated to US 9 (Zappos instead translates European 42 to US 8. WRONG!)
Knowing that my husband wears shoes in sz 42, I bought him a few different pairs of Memphis to shoes in sz 42 - every pair fits him correctly.
