Throttle Penny

This was as close to a minimalist loafer as I could find. Sole is still thicker and stiffer than I would like, but it will do the job of something nicer than my Xero Shoes without killing my feet. Took the insoles out. Would have preferred a full welt over the moccasin toe, don't know why that's such a rare feature. I am sure the edging will not wear well over time. Solid construction overall. Leather patch around the heel is stitched too far back from the edge resulting in a 3/16" (3mm) "flap" which I am sure will also not wear well over time. I might trim that down myself.

Very comfortable. Fit right out the box. No blisters or hot spots.

Excellent casual loafers. Great with jeans or slacks. Comfortable when driving.

My husband said they were a little tight but being leather, should stretch. An 11 1/2 would have fit perfectly, but that size was not offered. These look good for a business casual look and the sole looks good for walking.

Very flat and plain. Returning.
