These fit just like it shows in the photo - slim cut. I am 5'9" and the length (32") is perfect. The slim cut makes them a little more dressy, so I'm sizing up to make them a little looser around the hips and more casual. (Ordered a 6 based on other Royal Robbins clothes I own, but going up to an 8.) The front pockets are generously sized. I love the drawstring to customize the waistline, and I love that I can thread it to the inside or the outside (brilliant!) The fabric in the "blended undyed" color is very soft. The "coyote" color was a little more stiff/less soft.
