I purchased several cashmere/cotton sweaters several years ago and these new sweaters aren't as soft, seem to have a higher percentage of cotton

I was looking for a soft, comfy but substantial shoulder-season sweater. This is perfect. It is thick, comfortable stole-my-boyfriend's shape. Would be nice if LLBean would consider this a unisex sweater and even offer a size XS. None of the women's sweaters fit the need this sweater provides. I saw some reviews saying this isn't soft. I am sensitive to textures. Most of the less than $700 cashmere or wool (even merino), sweaters and even many cotton tops are too scratchy or itchy for me. I find this not irritating at all. except of course of the side tag.
