The boot fit very nicely and felt comfortable except for curving in and pressing against the side and outer corner of my big toe. The 6 wide was otherwise long enough, and had good width across my little toe. I need a rounder toe box, one that doesn't taper in quite so soon. There was plenty of room for winter socks . The leather is a nice and supple.
The boot is attractive and fits well with plenty of room in the toe box. The additional arch support is beneficial as it allows more support for those with high arches that need that little extra. The extra insoles are great to take up space to help those with feet that aren't the same size. I've seen lots of reviews complaining about the removable arch support and inserts. They obviously haven't done the research to know why they are like that or how to use them to their advantage. I have been a nurse for 35 years and have several foot problems as a result. My podiatrist recommended this brand, (he wears them himself) and I am not disappointed.
Weird fit and support. Wearing them aggravated my knees and back. Would not recommend.
They fit! They fit! I haven't had properly fitting winter boots in years and years, since the soles cracked on my old ones. My feet are very wide (EE), my toes are huge and I wear prescription orthotics. In my later years my right big toe has developed severe arthritis, enlarging it further. My normal shoes (Easy Spirit walking shoes) have ventilation holes, which is not the best feature in snow. I am delighted to finally have proper winter boots, especially since there is an increased chance of measurable snow this winter.
The Orthofeet delta hiking boots are absolutely the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever had. I have a neuroma in one foot and no matter what I put on my feet, I end up with foot pain. That is not the case with Orthofeet. I have worn them for hours and my foot was pain free! They also look amazing & are definitely waterproof. You will not be disappointed!

The Medium width seems more like a Wide. I wish Orthofeet offered an Narrow option.
The shoe is much too wide for me. I wish that Orthofoot offered a Narrow width as the Medium seems much more like a Wide.
The boots are comfortable but far too wide for me. I've had that issue with some other Orthofoot items. I wish they offered a Narrow width, as the Medium is more like a Wide--at least for me.
I like the extra depth these boots have because it allows just enough to allow a smidge extra width beyond x-wide. Dressy enough to wear with slacks for church while having a stable base of support. Just received today so hopefully they continue to work with corrective orthotics I need to have made.
