I have wide toes and narrow heels, 8-8.5 (almost always 8.5). I got the 8.5 wide. It was too long, not wide enough at the toes, heel slips out. These problems, for me, cannot be fixed by changing sizes. Clunky looking, but I was expecting that. It will work for someone.
I was heart broken when my first pair of Eastland shoe soles split. Took them to be repaired and they said no can do. I'd had this pair of shoes for 12 years and they were my most comfortable winter shoes, and go with just about everything. So thought I would look on Zappos to find something similar, and was shocked Eastland still made the same style this many years later! They fit very true to size, now the hard part.. I still can't bring myself to throw my old ones away!
Fit was better width wise than length wise and the leather looked kind of like plastic. Also sloppy trim around stitching to the sole.
These look like they're made out of plastic. I tried them on just to see how they fit, but returned them because they look so cheaply made.
This shoe looks good, but runs on the small and narrow side. I would order a half size up. The deal breaker for me is that the manufacturer decided to sew a rough fabric with the brand label right where the heel of the foot touches the bottom of the shoe inside, so wearing without socks is out as it scratches the sole of the foot with every step. Most shoes have this stamped in, not sewn in. Sad, but sending back.
This is my 2nd pair of Eastland shoes. I absolutely love them. Very comfortable and great support. My first pair of Eastlands are 6 yrs old and still going strong. I hope these do also.

They weren’t wide enough. I love the shoe!
These are very narrow across the bridge of my foot - so much that I struggled to even get the shoe on. As a result, it pinches across the top of my foot. Plenty of room in the toe box which is I guess why it is called wide but so narrow at the arch that it is impractical. Thusly, returning.
The shoes are a bit clunky and the space between the foot bed and the top of the shoe is to tight. My feet felt like they were being squeezed together from the top and bottom.
