These shoes are great for my kid with his AFOs but we end up buying about a pair a month because the zipper breaks or the sole starts coming apart. I love the design with the zipper on the top but I wish the shoes were built sturdier for kids with disabilities.
Finally a shoe wide enough for my square feet! I have had trouble all my 67 years finding shoes wide enough but short enough to not trip over!
My son used these shoes 4-5 times with his AFOs and the bottom completely ripped off. Very disappointed. Will be going back to New Balance for AFO shoes.
The fit was a little small for my son braces. Also you could tell these shoes were retuned the bottom of them were dirty a little like they had been walked in outside.
These shoes fit my child's hinged AFOs well, but just over a month later the front of the soles are coming apart.
Very cute uniform sneaker for my son. Fits wide feet and he can zip them on and off himself.
The footwear was great for my kid who needed some support for her low tone
I’m sure these are great for those who can wear this style. We have several other pairs with the full wrap zipper that work with dgs’s afo. These, however, do not. I ended up returning them. But Billy shoes in general are wonderful. I now order them directly from their website because they allow single shoe orders for two different size needs per foot.
If you have a kid that doesn’t like tying laces these are it! They looked great in pictures, not very durable but good for “nicer” looking shoes.
I Love the short wraps for toddlers. The zipper is up high enough It should extend the life of the zipper since toddlers are on their knees so much playing. His braces still go in with ease.Thank you Billy.
