Bean's Sweater Fleece 3-in-1 Jacket Regular

I had one of these jackets before and I was hoping they were still being made. And sure enough, here I am purchasing another one. Versatility and quality, can't be beat!

This is a wonderful coat, it is great! My only complaint is the arms seem a little skinny, but it could be the lining- putting it on over a flannel shirt pulls up the sleeves, you have to tug the shirt sleeves down.

Got this a few years ago. Love in Alabama so it wasn't put to task much. A recent trip to Ireland showed it's with. Kept the rain and wind out with no issue. Even spilled hot chocolate all down the front and it beaded up and rolled right off. This one's a winner.

This is my second winter with this jacket and it's a solid performer. It's great for temperatures 15 deg to 45 deg, but only if you're active at the lower end of that temp range. That's what I expected, no complaints there. It's also very solidly constructed, also what I expected. The shell is waterproof and like most waterproof shells benefits from being washed once a year with a gentle detergent such as nikwax to remove dirt and grime and restore the water beading. The one big miss involves the fleece layer. The sleeves don't have any smooth lining in them, so it's very difficult to pull the jacket on without pushing the fleece sleeves out of the shell sleeves. It's a winter jacket, so I only wear it with long sleeves, this is a big oversight and not what I expect from ll bean. All of the other aspects of this jacket are excellent. If that issue was fixed, it would be a 5 star product for me.

Don't really like the inner jacket- too bulky. My son wears the outer jacket when its not too cold.

The felt liner sticks to sleeves of shirts. When you put ON, it pulls the liner out past the shell cuffs and when you try to take jacket OFF, again, fabric of shirtsleeves sticks. I purchased in 2019 and have worn no more than 3x and opted for fleece-lined warm ups instead.

I bought this jacket for my husband while at LLBean In Freeport Maine. He loves this jacket. He tells me it's very comfortable, it's warm and well fitting. He loves the 3 in 1 feature and told me really likes the burnt orange color, it's a nice change from his other blue or green jackets that he has. I think the jacket looks great on him and as always, being from LLBean, it's a great quality item.
