This is my daughter's 3rd pair of exact same product, all from Zappos. She is in tennis Versity team in HS and fit and traction are very important. Everytime I buy her tennis shoes, I buy this one and 2 others to compare. Always this is the winner.
I ordered a half size up because I saw that people said it ran small--and it was still too small. I think this is because there was absolutely no arch support, so my foot splayed out completely flat, lengthening the foot. The insole isn't removable, so there's no option to slip an arch support underneath. The shoes are incredibly cheap in feel and look. Even for the lower price, I'd expect something better.
My shoe size is 39 and this shoe is true to size in my opinion. I find the shoes very comfortable and good for tennis and pivoting.
The shoes didn't have as much arch support as other Asics I've purchased. I had to add an orthodic to get the support I needed. My problem with the shoes is that I wore them out in a month. By the end of the month I had a spot that had worn through the sole. I play tennis and pickleball multiple times a week and have never experienced wearing through a pair of shoes in a month. Asics are my favorite shoes because of their support but this pair was terrible.
Seem to run shorter and narrower than previous shoes. Also the arch support wasn't as good as I have had in the past. The shoe seemed to be put together well, returned them when I put them on and they weren't as I expected. I will try a different model. Wish they wouldn't change models so often!

These are my go-to indoor and ourdoor pickleball shoe. I wear them for a bit for break in then add cheap foam insoles and they are perfect. So for me they require a breakin to be truly comfortable to certainly useable out of the box. They are stiffer than trainers and hold up well. Easy to wash.
Pretty stiff, but maybe that's normal for a tennis shoe. Main issue is there is no arch support.
I wear a 9 wide so after reading comments and it was suggested I get a 9 1/2 so that is the size I ordered. The shoe is long and slender. My feet felt squeezed in this shoe even though it was a wide. The color was very pretty and I like the material. However Due to the width no wide enough I will be returning this shoe.
I really like these shoes. They are very comfortable and wide enough for y forefoot and the heel does not slip. The style is nice as well.
