Very pleased with this utility jacket in Darkest Gray. I have an olive green L.L. Bean one from years ago, as well as a stone-colored one, and they are both among my very favorite spring and fall jackets. They are well made, soft, and wash well. I never dry them for more than about 15 minutes, then take them out and hang to air dry. The lower pockets on the older ones are better in my opinion (square with a snap button, and a smaller pocket right above it with a zipper), but I'm still happy that I have added this to my collection! Please consider offering this in solid black!

Wearing it now as I write this! I had a coat similar to this for a dozen or more years which finally needed to be retired. My heart skipped a beat when I saw this at LLB and I knew I had to have it (in charcoal). Very well made and flattering fit. Works for smart casual to casual and looks fabulous with a cotton scarf. I'm usually an LLB XS or S and the XS was great.

I ordered an XL because sometimes L.L.Bean clothes run a little small or the sleeves are short on me, although I normally wear a L. That said, this jacket runs quite generously, and I probably could have ordered my usual size.
It's a great lightweight jacket for spring and fall. It's versatile enough to dress up a little or keep casual, and I really like that it doesn't feel bulky. Overall, I'm very happy with it!

Love LLB APPAREL! Years ago I purchased this jacket In Olive Green Same size Petite LG I still wear it & love it
However this jacket same size is nothing like my green one the material is still as anything, the Sleeves & body length clearly was NOT Petite ! What is happening mom reading many reviews about STIFF fabrics for apparel
I still purchase alot but I'm so disappointed in this jacket and has to return it :(. I will west the green with everything ans forget having a greyblack color one

I just got this jacket in the green color and I love it so much I ordered the navy. It runs slightly large but I like that. I love everything about this jacket and may order the tan color. I love all the details on it like the curved border and zipper with snaps.
