Classic Mariner Top: Love these Breton striped Mariner tops. Heavier cotton, boxy shape and bateau neckline all contribute to nautical feel. Size down for a more fitted look. Please continue to make these tops.
I really like the quality of the material. I think this will wear well and should look great for years.
Normally I wear Petite XS, but the navy stripe was sold out, so I tried the Regular XS. This top is 100% cotton, so the approximately 1-1/4 extra inches in sleeve and overall length would allow for shrinkage (some reviews said it is boxy). The size chart says that chest size is the same for Regular and Petite. Yes, it's a looser fit, but the dropped shoulders give a more custom fit through the shoulders and add a little length to the 3/4 sleeves. I can wash and dry this in a warmer cycle and not worry about shrinking. It worked for me!
Very nice heavy weight cotton shirt. I gave it 4 stars because the sizing is large and boxy. While I usually order a medium, I orderer a small but could possibly have taken an extra small. I am 5'4" and weigh 125 lbs.
After the initial order shipping notification with tracking number, I never understood why this package never appeared on my UPS MY CHOICE. Today when it arrived, I saw the reason. Somebody had addressed it with my phone number in the place of the address. Down further was my address. Due to this incorrect labeling it got delayed after it had come 20 mins from my house then took off 6 hours away to another state. If your body is wide, this will work well for you, but mine is not. I am a size small, Bust Measurement (NOT bra size) is 38" Waist 32". I got the XS. The size chart has XS being a chest measurement 33-34". Not true. An XXSmall would have been the right size for me, but hopefully it will shrink. I like my clothes to fit close to the body to show my figure. The quality of the top is excellent.
I love the quality of the fabric, it's substantial and soft. The stripes are flattering and I received many compliments when I wore it to work.
A great quality basic. Runs a little large. I wear a 38C and usually wear a large. The medium is perfect and not the least bit tight.
I love the weight of the fabric and the shorter length so I can wear it without tucking it in.
