These are snug in the heel and give lots of toe room (unlike my Merrell Moab’s). They even have some cushioning on the back of the shoe for my bone spur. Great grippy sole. I would say these have a lot of motion control if you overpronate like I do. The laces seem like they would be more convenient than they are. I still have to pull them out and loosen them to take them on and off. They are very stiff material, which probably protects your feet more, but this is where the Merrells are better as far as comfort.

I have been wearing Salomon running/hiking shoes for about 5 years now. I purchased my first pair during the pandemic when everything was closed. This is my 5th pair and second in this style. I purchased them in black for work and they are a perfect choice. The sole grip is perfect and I have heel spurs. So, the heel gives me enough support and lift that it is much easier to walk. I love these shoes and would recommend them 100%.

Great looking shoe, just was too stiff all around. I wear a true 7.5 and the toe length felt a little long and the shoe width felt to narrow and compressed. Just wasn't a good fit for my feet. Stylish but the shoe string toggle and laces seem a bit flimsy.

Very happy with my Solomon shoes: Super comfortable for long hikes matching with my Solomon socks. Size down cause it's kinda big. My regular size is 7 and I got 6.5 and it's perfect.

Looking for a waterproof trail runner, but really needed a wide width. These were snug across, but not actually tight (prob due to the accomodating fabric upper). Still, bet they'll end up pinching after a while. Also wasn't a fan of the speed lacing - convenient, but they are so fine that I'm worried they'll be easily cut or snapped.

Love this shoe, minimal break in and great on all terrain. I like I can adjust the bungee lace with the different socks thickness I wear with them, for the best comfort of the shoe. I am happy with my purchase.

I prefer a low rise hiking shoe vs. a boot. These are great - comfortable and easy to get on and off. Good for rugged terrain but stylish enough to wear daily.

Love these. On my 3rd pair now. The speed laces are a game changer. Fit well. I have a wider foot. Super comfy. I only wish they came in the same colors as the non-Gore Tex version. The non-Gore Tex versions always have better colors.
