I’ve had a few pairs of OluKai shoes over the past couple of years. These are not my favorite. If you’re spending over $100 for tennis shoes, they should provide a little more comfort. I understand that these aren’t running shoes but more of a casual wear. Also, there’s a noise the shoe makes near the toe while walking. It’s a slight popping sound by the toe. Not sure if it’s the material or an adhesive that didn’t quite adhere? I Really want to be a little different and branch out from other popular brands, but if this keeps up I can’t justify spending this kind of money on a mediocre product. Overall, just a decent shoe.
I like the shoes and they’re comfortable, but I am debating returning them due to one issue. There is a strange snapping sound on the left shoe near the toe when I walk. I believe it’s the inner material creasing and separating as I step. It’s loud enough to be annoying when walking.
