I'm an adult and usually wear size 7 in Dansko, but 6.5 in Birkenstocks and other "comfort" brands. So I took a chance on the adorable denim blue Big Kid size 5. (In Camper and Skechers I easily fit in their Big Kid 5.) Unfortunately this was so narrow, or so short, that I couldn't even get my foot in. I did open the velcro flap and pull the tongue back to allow easier access but it simply didn't work for me. For a kid who is legitimately a size Big Kid 4.5, it would probably be great.

These sneakers are adorable! My daughter can dress up a bit, but still be comfy. They even look cute with dresses! We haven’t had any problems with the bows reported by other reviewers. She’s had hers for months, wears them to school, etc and they still look great.

Bows fell off on first wearing. Superglued them back on but they kept falling off. They should have been sewn on by manufacturer!
