Yikes! I already had two pairs of Taos Z-Soul in fabric, and they're awesome. So, I decided to order these. I guess it's that they are leather instead of fabric, but they fit completely differently. I wore them to work the first time I put them on, and both small toes and one heel were practically bleeding by the end of the day. They would have been had I not put a bunch of band-aids on. Never even needed a break-in period with the fabric ones. I almost always wear a 6.5, but I wear a 7 in this style. Maybe a 7.5 would have worked in this leather version, but I doubt it.

The toe box is too flat and rubs against the tops of my toes. The instep is secure enough for my narrow foot but the heel is loose.

Loved the looks of these, and the zipper. By the time I found the right length (1/2 size up from usual), the heel was slipping. And the toe box still hurt the outside edge of my big toe. These are not for wide footed folks. Even with my volume feet and these needed to be loosened up a bit (often I have to cinch laces up completely to make shoes fit at all). I really wanted them to work! But in the end, the narrowness wasn't helpful because the heel slipped and toes were cramped.

Super cute shoe. Had a bit of a break in issue with the left shoe but that resolved after a couple days of wearing. I wouldn’t say it runs overly narrow but probably fits a slender foot better.

I really like the shoe and it fit well and was comfortable. However, the zipper on both shoes was difficult to zip up and down!
