My child is in between sizes, so I chose the larger size. I really like the zippers on the pockets, so things stay will stay put. The Challenger pant is a nice material as well. It is light but not thin.

As stated in another review, this is a thin material. But it isnt any thinner than most of the other training pants. I love them and they will be perfect to hike in and stay not too cool but not hot.
