Gamma Lightweight Jacket

Just as great as the other MX Gammas in terms of cut and performance but lightweight and breathable. Really good wind stopper.

Really nice summer weight soft shell that packs up very small and gives good wind resistance. Lots of very useful pockets. It comes up large, so if you are (for example) normally an Arc Teryx XL, then order L.

Well I gotta say I like this jacket it's light, looks good, has some warmth to it and the breathability is fine. I know some people have issues with Arc'teryx sizing, but this jacket fit, is excellent (I am 6 feet, 190 lbs). I have not checked out the waterproofing as of yet, but this is not a jacket I would wear in wet weather. The exterior shell has a nice soft feel, lots of pockets. I like how the arm sleeve interfaces with the wrist, simple but very effective. comfortable to wear and easy to remove your jacket or put it back on. I also like the collar design, again, simple but effective.

I love this jacket but as others have said, you need to size down on this one. I am in between a L and XL and I was swimming in the XL. Hopefully Arctyrex takes some feedback from their customers. This is a lightweight jacket and not the kind of jacket I am going to be layering under. It's almost like they designed it to be an outer shell but it should be a stand-alone lightweight jacket for cool weather. The front pockets and material are great. Will order a L when it's available.

Love that they added the chest pockets from the Gamma MX while keeping it lightweight, but the sizing is awful. Medium is my normal size, but this one fits like a barrel and fits more like a large than a medium. Sleeves were fine, but the body was way too big. Sizing down didn't help, as the small fit like any other small and was too fitted.

Lightweight, breathable summer jacket: Nice lightweight summer jacket. Layers well. Good breathability. As always (sigh) Arcteryx sleeves are too long, but I like the jacket a lot. Highly recommended for gorillas or humans who can put up with long sleeves.

Men's Gamma Light Weight Jacket: It is an excellent product except for back length and sleeve length for men's size XS; I think that the back length should and sleeve length should be shorten between 2" and 3". I think that one chest pocket is enough where two chest pockets ls more weight and maintenance.
