If your kid has a hard time putting shoes on, these are not for you. My son uses the little finger tab at the back of his shoes to pull his shoes on (some fine motor challenges) so we cannot buy shoes without a tab. These have a tab but it’s more than an inch below the top of the back, so if you pull on the tab to put them on it crushes the back of the shoe inward. He could not get these on independently. Too bad - super cute but they were not easy for him to put on.

I brought the shoes for 4 year old kid who just complained about the shoe being too tight.

The fit was good. It's actually a size bigger than the normal.
