I've named these "The Sole/Soul Crushers" they are so uncomfortable. My feet ache just thinking that I'll have to put them on again. Worst pair of shoes I've ever worn. I tried different insoles, socks anything/everything I could think of to make them more comfortabe thinking they may just take some time to break in. Didn't happen.
One of the best comfortable work shoe's i've ordered in a while. I usually wear size 8.5 and i ordered size 8 and it was way too big so had to return them. Beside the size everything else was great.

I have plantar fasciitis I’ve had them for a while stopped working warehouse then back again and they still hold up best shoes I’ve had from Zappos

I've worn this general type of sneaker-ish safety shoe for work for the last 10 years. My favorite equivalent from another brand is no longer available so I tried these. I have very narrow feet, but these still felt right on the edge of being too narrow around the forefoot (the composite toe area was actually fine). For average width feet these would be torture. The underfoot feel was weirdly dead, like walking in sand. Standing was OK but walking sapped my energy more than any other shoe or boot. I wore them for a full work week hoping for some sign of break in, but they felt just as bad after a week. The soles were mushy in some areas while being very stiff under the ball of the foot, so that they actively fought against me with each step. At the end of the day on Friday, after five miserable days, I changed into other shoes and dropped these into the donation bin on the way home. The thud as these hit the bottom of the bin was intensely pleasurable and I finally felt free.
Great fit!
Overall seems like a good shoe, I made the mistake of not getting double extra wide and my toes felt cramped inside the shoe. It felt good otherwise, just wish they came in the larger width.
