I'm giving 4 stars because the right foot was perfect. However, there was some kind of flaw in the ankle of the left boot where a chunk of the boot kept rubbing hard on my shin. I had to return them which is too bad as it is a very cool looking boot!
Great all around boot. Very well ventilated. Not too much support so probably not great for long distance hiking. Have been using them in residential (summer) construction and they are great!
These are kind of like Skechers slip-on shoes... only a thousand times better. Whereas Skechers feel like slippers, Original S.W.A.T. fit and feel like real quality footwear. I don't know about trails and hills, but these SWAT boots are great for the office and general boot-scooting around town. I'm pleasantly surprised a slip-on can feel so snug, secure, and comfortable. I hope they are built to last.
