Thank God there is no arch support. I can never wear shoes that provide it! I wore the shoes for the first time today, walked a lot; walking was a breeze and my feet don't even hurt after removing them!

Fit true to size, wide width was actually wide. Many other brands are not. Very happily with comfort and style. They are not really navy blue, more navy/royal.

I ordered this in a 12WW, one width wider than I normally wear to accommodate an extra insole in the forefoot. Right out of the box I find the Taupe length and width very comfortable. I would have preferred the inside line of the shoe to indent along the arch for a more attractive look. The heel is as pictured, a simple block design. I think the heel would be more appealing if the inside forward line was slightly angled back at the top front to echo the angle of the leather trim that rises up and back to buckle around the heel. I found plenty of room in the toe box even with the tapered shoe. The lining under the forefoot is a nice sueded finish. The heel of my foot rises when walking in a motion similar to a thong, but I don’t find it difficult. I’m pleased to have found a comfortable shoe in the Taupe that is perfect for wearing with clothing that cannot be color matched, or that works well without the need for matching shoes. The macrame upper provides interest without being overstated.

The fit was perfect until I wore them outside and walked in them for 10 minutes. My feet started to hurt a lotas if there were absolutely no arch support. I haven't had the experience before. I've worn them outside, so it's too late to return them, but I am very unhappy.

These are attractive shoes, and very comfortable. You can wear them with a summer dress or pants. They will make great travel shoes.

My feet are hard to fit! But these are comfortable enough I’m wearing them to my granddaughter wedding. I don’t wear heels but these I can! After trying 7 pairs, these fit! Might add.. I live in rural America, Zappos is wonderful about returns!!
