Purchased size 2 in alloy/granite green. These boots are wider than the Columbia Kids Newton Ridge or Merrell Kids Moab Speed 2 Mid Waterproof, and probably slightly longer as well. Plenty of room for a big sock, not so big that they fall off. The bungee closure is nice. Most importantly, Keen seems to take the waterproofing seriously. The coated portion goes all the way up to the tongue with no gaps. Nice traction, too.
My son loves these and can't wait to go camping in them!
The boots run a little large but that is ideal for wearing thick socks. Very durable and nice looking.

Order these for my son who is a size four I ordered a size five there is more than enough room for him to grow into. He runs super fast in these and tells me they are light weight and comfortable.

This shoe was advertised to have a removable insole, and it does not all remove, part of it was still attached in the shoe. I didn't want to yank it out in case it didn't fit, and I was right, this shoe is too big. I will try a size smaller.
Second pair of hiking books from Keen, and theyre always just right and ready for adventure, 5. 5 yo is thrilled with his boots.
